satyam computers fraud with their clients May 29, 2008
Clients must be cautious while dealing with Indian Software companies like satyam and wipro. They became experts in forgery and cheating clients.
We are seeing the cases where Indian companies like satyam and wipro itself is making employees to show more fake experience so that they can present them to client & then the same company sacking them later sometime giving the reason that theese guys faked in CV & so are fired.
Are all of their project managers sending genuine CVs while going for bidding a project, I am sure 90 per cent of managers are manipulating the professional CVs to match their project requirement. Even they ask the employees to manipulate the CVs, show the experience according to need of the project, This is absolutely true for all the companies, They do while sending resume for onsite opportunities and bidding for the new project, they train their employee in a tool, but puts them as they are working for 2 to 3 years.
If clients will themselves do deep level verification, I am sure all the managers would have faked their employees resume. This is a naked truth happening in IT industries, so Why are you judging at the lowest level only. My suggestion if one candidate is caught then they should them entered as Entry Level and can give them as lateral entry package, bye the way the person has already got training at outside institute by spending his own money and company don to require him to train. If one is faking technical skill and got selected that mean the interviewer has not capacity to judge in interview?
Every person is guaranteed right to work, which is a fundamental right under the constitution of India and International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, ratify the same.
This database needs to be Cent per cent fool proof or like the case of Mr.Lakshman who was held in police custody for 50 days for mistaken identity ( he was suspected for using an IP Address from which is malicious activity was done, later the ISP firm confirmed it was a mistake from their side and Mr. Lakshman never had the said IP address). An employer’s wrong comment or negative attitude could ruin an employee’s life and future.
So if satyam and Wipro has started this initiative they should also take full responsibility for any mistake/misinterpretation of database that they are sharing.
Satyam and Wipro is scared that those who quit Wipro may join other companies and become against ultimately...that is why such wierd initiative. first it has to look its internal problems before servicing others.
