New Cisco Technology Helps Small Businesses Drive Business Forward

As the economy improves, small businesses have a unique opportunity to not only use technology to help run their business better, but also drive their business forward. For example, a small business can expand its presence and reach by using a VPN-enabled desktop IP phone to open a new virtual office from almost any location where a broadband connection is available. The VPN-enabled desktop IP phone automatically and securely connects to the business phone system as if the employee was at the main office.

To help small businesses accomplish things like this, Cisco today announced several new technologies specifically designed for the small business. In the video below, Rick Moran, vice president of Small Business Solutions Marketing, explains how a couple of the new products can help small businesses improve their business.

Today Cisco is also celebrating the anniversary of its $100 million small business investment. In the video below, Ian Pennell, co-chair of the Cisco Small Business Council, reflects on the past year’s accomplishments.
