Customers Confirm Value of Cisco and Microsoft Collaboration

Posted by: Pamela Ferril

This month Cisco and Microsoft announced the availability of Windows Server ® on WAAS, a jointly developed and supported program that integrates Windows Server 2008 on the Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) network appliance.

Windows Server on WAAS reduces the cost and complexity of providing IT services in branch locations with accelerated access to centralized applications and secure and reliable local Windows Server services.

And today, there is a new video that highlights some of the early customers speaking about the value of Windows Server on WAAS and the added flexibility it brings to the deployment of IT resources.

The video also highlights Cisco’s Paul McNab and Microsoft’s Bill Hilf discussing the collaborative effort between the two companies and how it will help our customers.
