Cisco Highlights Collaboration with Microsoft’s Latest Windows Products

Cisco completely supports the driving new types of efficiency in IT. Which is why, Cisco is a platinum sponsor and has been speaking at a series of Microsoft’s New Efficiency launch events that have been taking place in multiple cities around the US for the last couple of weeks.  Microsoft is demonstrating, with many their partners, the latest Microsoft IT solutions,  Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010 that are helping drive new efficiency in business.

We at Cisco are working together with Microsoft to deliver more integrated data center solutions to the market to help reduce costs and complexity of deployment in their data centers, such as the Cisco Unified Computing System combined with Windows Server, Hyper-V and Microsoft applications.  Also the Windows Server on WAAS combined solution helps end-users increase productivity by delivering higher performance applications stored in remote data centers.

I had a chance to catch up with Kathy Hill, SVP of Development Strategy and Operations for Cisco to get an update on how we are collaborating with Microsoft in the Data Center.

On November 9, at the Microsoft TechEd Europe, you can hear Cisco speaking on how to reduce costs and increase efficiency in the data center, out to the branch/remote offices with Cisco and Microsoft solutions.
