It’s All-Star season again! This week the NBA will bring together the most talented and passionate players in the world for a global celebration of the game. Leveraging our partnership with the NBA, we will demonstrate how Cisco technology is enhancing the sports experience for fans around the world, both inside and outside the arena.

NBA All-Star Activity
The 60th NBA All-Star Game will take place on February 20 at the Staples Center. In addition, from February 18-20, 100,000 fans in Los Angeles will experience 300,000 square feet of NBA All-Star excitement at NBA All-Star Jam Session 2011 in the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The Cisco/NBA partnership will be showcased with the following activities:
- The Ūmi “Get Together” van will provide fans with four days of face-to-face interactions with some of their favorite players during the four days of Jam Session. Fans will also have an opportunity to compete with one another via ūmi in a game of “Name that Player” and will be eligible to enter daily drawings to win a custom NBA All-Star Flip video camera.
- A “Behind the Scenes at All-Star” Flip video will be played on the center-hung scoreboard during Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game, followed by a Flip video camera giveaway to lucky fans in the arena. Facebook promotion, NBA Branded Flips
- Innovative media and marketing activity includes digital creative on NBA.com within the special NBA All-Star Scenes section that features behind-the-scenes Flip Video by NBA players, fans, and celebrities. This unique content will be available for the NBA fans on NBA.com. Social media will direct fans to the Cisco Ūmi fan community and Cisco’s Sports Video Lounge to join the discussion by tagging with #CiscoNBA on Twitter.
- For the second year in a row, Cisco StadiumVision is transforming the host venue with new and differentiated experiences for NBA fans.
