aerotropolis is a fascinating concept I never heard before finding this post. It certainly makes sense with the evolution of mega cities and how people centralize, notice how big cities evolve into high rise buildings

Outstanding article of how commercial, residential, and metropolitan infrastructures may look in the future based on transportation. This is a great concept! John D. Kasarda is a Distinguished Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Director of the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School <– very close to home for me.

I agree 100%!! The role of a traditional airport can be compared from an infrastructure provider to a service provider in today's (and future) world.
