Understanding Opportunity

Restructurings, layoffs, slashed budgets. These are the words we’re hearing everyday in the news as we continue to wade through the current economic crisis. It’s a challenging and uncertain time to be sure, but it’s also an excellent time to be preparing for turnaround. Because the reality is that any time we’re forced to do more with less, we become more inventive, more resourceful. And that’s essentially the theme we’re carrying to this year’s Interop: Redefining Innovation. Igniting Your Business.

As we move into the next new economy, the leaders will be those who know that we need fresh approaches to managing business operations. And that means systems and tools that enable greater efficiencies. Because in the end, those actions result in leaner and meaner organizations, as well as higher productivity.

And when we’re able to operate productively and efficiently, we’re inspired to innovate. So, it’s actually a pretty exciting time right now because by making wise investments in infrastructure, you can actually cut costs and ultimately do more with less. And those are pretty strong advantages that can make your organization more nimble and prepared to act on whatever opportunities come your way.

At Interop, Cisco will be showcasing the core solutions that are necessary to not just help you survive in this economy, but to actually prepare for liftoff. From collaboration and mobility to next-generation enterprise wireless, to Cisco EnergyWise, to our just-announced unified computing systems, and to NAC security. Come see us at Booth 1719.
