Startup America Partners with Cisco WebEx and Kicks Off at SXSW

- March 9, 2012 - 0 Comments

Cisco WebEx has joined the Startup America partnership — an organization to help accelerate the growth of America’s young companies.

Cisco will be providing participating start-ups with free WebEx accounts so they can use video conferencing to conduct online meetings. This should help these young businesses increase their ability to work with other companies, vendors, and even remote employees.

“Our goal is to help American startups get what they need to grow into strong, successful companies,” said Scott Case, founding CTO of Priceline.com and CEO of the Partnership. “We’re thrilled to have WebEx as a new partner because the services they provide are invaluable to new businesses as they develop their customer base, bring on new employees and expand their reach.”

The partnership was announced today as part of the events around SXSW in Austin, TX.
