Thank you to Alisa for contributing the story below.

We have a 14 month old daughter and while her Grandpa was really busy at work, we used the ūmi system to stay connected and allow Grandpa to keep track of her growth progress.

The high definition camera allowed us to zoom in and show her first tooth. Our daughter was also aware of his presence in the room and waved. We could actually tell her Grandpa was on the phone, and she would crawl to the living room and look to the TV to see if he was there!

Being directly attached to our television, we were able to be online at all times and made it easy to make and answer calls.

We hope to be able to capture her first steps on the system so Grandpa can share in our joy.

I wish I could see my grandson on Christmas! He will be here, but I will be gone (not my planning, my mother-in-law planned a trip for us). Orion is my first grandchild and this is his first Christmas; I’m said we won’t be together for the holiday.
