Cisco ūmi Helps You Make Healthy Choices

- March 3, 2011 - 1 Comment

March is National Nutrition Month, a nutrition education and information campaign designed to create awareness around the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. Sponsored by the American Dietetic Association, National Nutrition Month was initiated in 1973 and has since grown into a month-long event that promotes healthy choices among Americans.

This year, the theme is “Eat Right with Color,” which focuses on grouping a variety of colorful foods into one meal to ensure you’re getting all of the nutrients your body needs. With Cisco ūmi, you can connect with loved ones on your HD television to map out meal plans, cook up a delicious meal with a rainbow of ingredients, share tips on an exercise routine or even do the routine together, encouraging each other to do one more push up or jumping jack. Through the support of family and friends and the help of Cisco ūmi, we can work toward living healthier lifestyles.
