Cisco ūmi: Going Haywire for WIRED

Let’s face it.  There are very few things that are considered the cat’s meow in the tech world.

Getting a positive review from Walt Mossberg.  Appearing at DEMO.  Seeing a company profile appear in Forbes.

Oh, and having the most popular technology culture magazine recognize your product.

So you’ll have to pardon the excitement when we tell you that Cisco ūmi has been selected as one of the products to be showcased in the annual holiday Wired Store Gallery.

The shopping space in the Tower Records building at 692 Broadway, New York City, showcases consumer electronics, gaming, active gear, home goods, eco-lifestyle items, apparel and children’s toys.

Cisco ūmi telepresence will be a featured item this year.  Visitors will be able to place live calls from New York to Los Angeles and talk to a variety of specials guests.

The store will be open to the public between November 19 and December 26 from 11am to 7pm Wednesdays through Sundays. (The Store is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.)
