I suspect that this information will change many clinical “best practices”… The end result is better treatment for ALL, and at a lower price point. Once near real time medical device updates are sent to the EMR (meaningful use phase 2), I expect to see some interesting findings. Now that’s what I call putting your EMR to meaningful use!
