- October 19, 2011 - 0 Comments

CA NetQoS has successfully completed the interoperability testing with Medianet 2.2 for its product CA NetQoS® Unified Communications Monitor 3.2 through the medianet systems management Cisco Developer Network  (CDN) program.

The CA NetQoS team was in our lab in RTP for two days, where they went through intensive test review of their product against a purpose-built medianet-enabled network. CA NetQoS® Unified Communications Monitor 3.2 provides support to medianet performance monitor that has been discussed in previous blogs.

CA NetQoS® Unified Communications Monitor 3.2 (press announcement) allows service providers (SPs) to offer voice and video management services, which helps SPs to ensure one of the most critical business services that IT supports. With performance monitor support it helps organizations address and manage the ‘consumerization of IT’ and the rapidly growing use of video in the enterprise.

Below is a screenshot (source) that shows how CA NetQoS Unified Communications Monitor provides at-a-glance views to pinpoint where hot spots are located. It provides alerts on call setup or call quality problems, along with key network metrics, like packet loss, that are associated with those problems.
