Here at Cisco, it’s easy to understand the importance of technology. We can connect with people around the world, do our jobs more efficiently, and create innovative solutions that have never been seen before. Technology also gives us the ability to change the world in unprecedented ways. The best part is that we know there are incredible people out in our community making a difference and embodying Cisco’s mission to change the way people learn, work, live, and play.
At Cisco Live in San Diego this June, we want to highlight the impact people are having in their communities. Our theme for the Cisco Empowered Women’s Network (CEWN) event is to ReDEFINE Tomorrow, Today. One facet of this campaign is to showcase the ways our customers and external users are using technology to ReDEFINE their communities. Our goal is to raise awareness and give the deserved recognition for the differences being made. We are so excited to announce our social media contest aimed at featuring the amazing ways Cisco customers and users are having an impact in their communities through technology.
The next part is up to you! Do you know someone who has initiative they’ve started in the community? Please help us spread the word and encourage those you know to share their passion projects with us for a chance to win a free trip to Cisco Live in June as a special guest of the Cisco Empowered Women’s Network. The winner will be invited to give a short talk at our event on Sunday, June 7, 2015 and receive a complimentary pass to Cisco Live!
