Inclusion and Diversity

“The diversity of the workforce at the London Olympics will be “unprecedented” and will be part of the lasting legacy left by the games”, Stephen Frost, head of diversity and inclusion at Locog (the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

According to Frost, Inclusion and Diversity has been ““absolutely central” to its recruitment process for volunteers, and to the employment practices it required of contactors successfully bidding for work.” Interviews for the 70,000 positions began on Tuesday 1st February and already they have seen a diverse group of people from different backgrounds.

Does Inclusion and Diversity lie at the heart of your recruitment strategy? How do you ensure that you have a diverse workforce where every individual feels included? As with many companies, Cisco values its diverse and global workforce and believes that diverse interactions not only lead to better products and services but also better relationships too.
