Alphawest is a wholly owned subsidiary of Australia’s Telecommunications challenger Optus Networks Pty Ltd and was recognised as Cisco’s Global Service Provider of the Year (2008) at Cisco’s partner summit. The company is continuing its dedication to selling, deploying and supporting Cisco’s key data centre offerings and Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions, and the Cisco Unified Computing System C-Series is just one of many steps Alphawest has taken in realigning its data centre practice to develop next generation data centres for its customers that help address their complexity, productivity, power and cooling, scalability and agility issues.

Additional recent data centre accomplishments and expertise include achieving Cisco’s Data Centre Unified Computing Authorised Technology Provider status, with focus on the Cisco B-Series and C-Series Unified Computing System platform globally and working closely with Cisco and VMware in conjunction with its parent Optus to build and deliver feature rich unique private enterprise cloud computing solutions to customers.
