Moscone Center West – Room
If you are at the Moscone Center , don’t miss the opportunity to meet Raghu, who led also the TPC-C benchmark (see blog Introducing the World’s Fastest 2-Processor server )
To help you to take advantage as soon as possible of the UCS platform, I talked yesterday with Carl Fijat, from Cisco Advanced Services to better understand how easy and painless the RISC migration can be. Carl who was presenting on the Cisco booth ( #1221) talked about the extensive methodology and comprehensive set of tools offered to the customers who are ready to migrate .
Carl will present again today on the booth at 5:00 pm , but meanwhile don’t hesitate to look at his slide deck- Feel free to check our website on RISC migration.
OOW 2012 was also the opportunity to express and talk about our partnership with NetApp . Cisco was a sponsor of the Customer event organized by NetApp at the AT&T Park , the San Francisco Stadium of the Giants – Great crowd with a lot of excitement, especially for the numerous fans of base ball, who got the chance to walk on the lawn , visit the locker rooms, meet base ball legends and hear the latest announcements from NetApp – Giuliano Di Vitantonio took the floor there to describe the services that the Cisco and NetApp engineers put in place for Oracle customers, starting with Flexpod based on Cisco UCS .
As I didn’t record this short presentation , I asked two of our favorite bloggers , NetApp Vaughn Stewart and Cisco Girish Kulkarni to summarize the state of the union during our Blogger Techminute.
Stay tuned for more information today from the Show floor here at OOW 2012 and meanwhile follow our twitter us at @drombaut and @ciscodc
