Our FCoE Partners Are Delivering

You may have read some recent news about Sun making FCoE available as part of their OpenSolaris project:Just today, QLogic announced that are now shipping the industry’s first Converged Network Adaptor supporting FCoE.And EMC announced they have taken another step closer to offering FCoE on their Clariion line.Expect to see even more announcements in the coming weeks and months for our other FCoE partners that will enable customers to deploy a complete FCoE solution.

  1. I am pondering the meaning of EMC’s announcement of offering FCoE support. Is this going to be based on native FCoE target port? What is your take?

    I think EMC realizes that their targets will need to support FCoE in the future and they are ensuring that their architecture supports it.
