Nexus 1000V Focus on vCenter Integration

- October 22, 2012 - 0 Comments

After my post last week on the Installer App in the upcoming Nexus 1000V 2.1 release, today we have another video demo of the Nexus 1000V plug-in for VMware’s vCenter.

Server Administrators need visibility into networking details, particularly when using Nexus 1000V. The vCenter plug-in is a software application that will be integrated fully into the vCenter server and will help admins gain a concise view of the virtual network.  This plug-in is a GUI-based interface which will export the necessary network information from the Nexus 1000V virtual supervisor module (VSM), so that the administrator has the ability to view the network topology, root cause issues and deploy virtual machines with the appropriate Quality of Service and security policies.

Back with the demo is Uday Gokurn from the Nexus 1000V product management team…
