‘Om’nidirectional Nexus


Was just reading this article on GigaOm about the Nexus 7000 as a sort of mutated blade server chassis.  I wanted to reply to it that there isn’t much possibility of the Nexus 7000 as a server platform itself, although it, I believe, is one of the best Server Interconnect platforms ever delivered.  smile 

Interesting conjecture, but doubt we’ll see that as an evolutionary path unless there is a major reduction in power draw for both CPUs and DRAM.
