Unified Fabric: A Technology for Tough Times—Real, Shipping and in Production

As I read about forced industry consolidations and our competitor’s ambitious plans to catch up with Cisco to deliver Unified Fabric years from now, it makes me realize the power and effect of Cisco Unified Fabric vision.

While these companies have just started to work on these “me too” plans and may or may not be able to deliver even years from now,  Cisco customers are already reaping the benefits delivered by Cisco Nexus switch products based on Unified Fabric architecture.

Here is what an architect from global law firm had to say, “We looked at few other solutions, but didn’t find any vendor that could come close to competing with what Cisco had to offer in the Cisco Nexus 5000, especially as it relates to bringing down costs by deploying FCoE and Unified I/O…”

Check out their full Unified Fabric success story (PDF) and find how they were able to reduce NICs, cables, switches and power.

Hundreds of other Cisco Nexus customers around the globe in all industry verticals are bringing down costs in these tough economic times while making their businesses more agile by leveraging Cisco Unified Fabric. Are you considering Cisco Unified Fabric?
