Cisco @ VMware Partner Exchange 2011

While there’s a ton of coverage of Cisco Live London this week, including Daily Blogger TechMinute (Day 1, Day 2) with coverage from Didier and Lisa, the Cisco Data Center goodness for February doesn’t end this week.

As a Diamond Sponsor, we’ll be in full force at VMware Partner Exchange 2011 (Orlando, FL) next week. If you’re a Cisco partner at the event, we really want to talk to you about some of the amazing things we’re doing around server virtualization, I/O virtualization, network virtualization, virtualized security, virtualized application acceleration, virtual desktops (VDI) and collaboration (VXI), and fabric consolidation. All of the things that you’ll need to building incredibly flexible, efficient, integrated VMware virtualization environments for your customers.

So where can you find Cisco next week?

The week gets started early as we deliver the Cisco Bootcamp on Monday Feb.7th from 9am to 5pm. Breakfast,  lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day!  You  will have a chance to win a Flip Camera, we  have one per Boot Camp session  to award  to participants!   We will also be hosting a Cisco Partner Reception on Monday evening -- all boot camp registrants will receive an invite!
The agenda for the day is listed below. We’re getting down to the last couple of days and seating is filling up fast so register now if you want to get up close and personal with the experts in areas such as Cloud Computing, Cisco UCS, Virtual Desktops (VDI), Virtual Multi-Tenant Network design and Cisco Virtual eXperience Infrastructure.

Ed Bugnion (VP/CTO, Cisco Server Access Virtualization Business Unit) will provide an in-depth look at where we are today and where we’re going in 2011 with Cisco UCS, VMware integration and Unified Management. Not only was Ed one of the founding members of VMware, but also a creator of the Cisco UCS system. In the IT world, he’s a person that “The Most Interesting Man in the World” wants to have a drink with and the “Old Spice Guy” wants to smell like. Don’t miss the chance to get direct access to where this incredibly fast-growing solution is going.

Brian Gracely -- be presenting on Cisco’s strategy, portfolio and differentiation in evolving your customer’s data center to Private Cloud.

Joe Vaccaro -- @joevaccaro -- Cisco UCS Product Manager -- will tell you everything you need to know about UCS, our partner integration, how to differentiate the product to win deals and much, much more.

Thomas Scheibe - Director, System Architecture & Solutions -- will discuss how our leading customers are deploying virtualized, multi-tenant data center infrastructure as they prepare to accelerate their adoption of cloud computing and IT-as-a-Service.

Tony Paikeday -- @TonyPaikeday -- Solution Marketing Manager -- will explore how you can take advantage of Cisco/VMware integration to deliver Virtual Desktop solutions for your customers today. He’ll also introduce you to the next-generation intersection of VDI and Collaboration, called Cisco Virtual eXperience Infrastructure (VXI) and how Cisco partners with UC practices can really tap into new market opportunities.

Throughout the week you can find us in Booth 203, where we’ll have experts there to discuss any of the topics listed above, as well as showing various demos and being ready for impromptu or scheduled whiteboarding sessions.

Tuesday Night we will be in the Partner Theater at 6:30PM, with the session “Money in Your Pocket -- Cisco Partner Incentives for 2011″

It should be a great event. Partners from all over the world are scheduled to attend, the weather should be excellent in Florida and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
