Digital Cribs Contest with NYU and USC - Vote For Your Favorite Videos Today!
Ken Wirt, vice president of consumer marketing at Cisco, introduces a third Digital Cribs video contest, specifically for NYU and USC students.
After the success of Digital Cribs: Heaven or Hell and the Digital Cribs and Filmaka video contest, Cisco has created a third video contest in partnership with New York University’s ProMotion Pictures program and the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. The students submitted three-minute videos that show off the innovative uses of consumer electronics and the home network that make up a ‘digital crib.’
The NYU and USC Digital Cribs videos have been posted on digitalcribs.com, where you can view and vote on the NYU and USC videos to help determine the winners. Voting will end January 23rd and the winners will be announced on February 5th.
Here’s how we’ll determine the winning videos:
o The brand winner will be determined by a panel of three Cisco judges. The judges will critique videos based on adherence to creative brief, quality of
casting, storytelling and originality. The brand winner will receive $5,000 (US).
o Voter’s choice winners will win a percentage of $8,000 (US) in prize money, relative to the corresponding percentage of votes; for example, a student who
receives 80% of the total votes cast will receive 80% of the prize money ($6,400).

How do you “vote” for a video? In comments? By rating? That needs to be more clear.
