In early May, our friend and Cisco engineer Brian Dickinson climbed Mt Everest. His journey was dramatic, life threatening and amazing. We talked to him before he left home (watch here) and then from Base Camp at Everest (watch here). In this upcoming event, he’ll tell us what happened next. Photo courtesy of Brian Dickinson.
At the top of the world, six miles above sea level, Brian became snow blind and had to descend without his sight. To make matters worse, he was alone and on his way down a crampon popped off. Blind, unable to climb properly, he faced one more challenge: he ran out of oxygen.
Exhaustion set in. He admits now, he nearly died.
Thankfully, he made it home. Now he’s ready to talk with us about what happened during a live WebEx event. Counted out for dead by his team below, discover how Brian was able to “push through it” and safely return to his family. He will share his inspiring story of fear, determination and perseverance with us.
Reserve your spot today.
Hear Brian’s first-hand account of life & death on Mt Everest and learn how he overcame this near-death experience. Brian will share photos from Everest including some taken of him by members of his team who didn’t believe that was him coming back down.
And of course we’ll have you ask him your questions about his adventure.
