My mission since joining Cisco Collaboration is to deliver unparalleled experiences across all of our products -- in every pocket, office and conference room.
And, we are delivering on that mission. March 2014 has been an amazing month for Cisco Collaboration. We unveiled our newly designed video portfolio; revealed a second-to-none user experience that spans across the entire collaboration portfolio -- from the browser to the boardroom; had a tremendous presence at Enterprise Connect, and that’s just the beginning…
I have even more exciting news to share. Our newly launched video products have been awarded six Red Dot Award 2014 for high design quality – an incredible validation of our design-led approach. The following Cisco Collaboration products all received the coveted Red Dot quality seal:
- MX700 and MX800 Series
- MX200 and MX300 G2 Series
- SX80 and Speakertrack 60
- Touch 10
- And one more product that you’ll meet in May…
I’m especially proud of this recognition because the Red Dot Award isn’t something you can win simply by emailing a picture of your product to board members. You have to physically submit products to a jury of 40 members from all over the world who come together to carefully evaluate product design and engineering. This year’s jury of experts evaluated 4,815 entries from 53 nations – and we were selected as winners along with Apple, Sony, Beats, Nest and Ducati.
User experience is at the heart of everything we do. The ability to develop incredible experiences is a direct result of great teamwork. We want to create products that beg to be used the moment you walk into the room. To receive industry recognition for our accomplishments is incredibly rewarding, but it’s just as important that we hear from you – the people who use our products. So check out Cisco Collaboration and let me know how you think we are doing. — @RowanTrollope
