Reaching the Unreachable

Our web documentary series, The Network Effect, examines the pioneering spirit of the inventors and service providers who built the telecom network, and how the network is transforming economies especially in developing countries. It is that same innovative and creative spirit that is now building cloud computing.

Like the advent of the network, cloud computing offers a low-cost capability for entrepreneurs to start new businesses with very little costs, thus creating more jobs.  It offers cost-effective means of delivering education and telemedicine to rural areas that are unable to afford the traditional infrastructure of these critical services.

More cloud innovations coming to the market translates to more socioeconomic development in the regions where it’s needed the most.
