This last weekend Cisco launched the new implementation of our enterprise collaboration platform, Cisco WebEx Social and what an exciting update it is!
With the latest update we have a new name, a new look, and a new experience, as Sheila Jordan mentioned in her previous post.
First off, the new look and feel is a huge step up. We took a user-centered design approach by gathering feedback and applying good design practices, larger text, more white space, easy to navigate user actions, and customizable pages.

Alongside the new face-lift, we have had a huge improvement in performance due to Cisco’s content delivery network set locally. This means fast load times no matter where you are around the globe.
New features and improvements include:
- Email integration for enhanced collaboration
- Improved posting with easy-to-use templates
- Enhanced search capabilities
- Click-to-create communities by type
- Added and improved click-to-drag apps
In my next posts I will go into further detail for each of these features and how they are beneficial in my every day work life at Cisco.
