IT spending is on the rise says a recent report from Raymond James & Associates. In fact, 2010 was the first year in a decade to see double-digit growth. So what’s one of the reasons for that spike?

According to the report, an improved credit environment has played a part. And guess what? Here at Cisco, we’re doing our part to make it easier for partners to get fast access to credit decisions. Cisco Capital is opening its doors to small business with competitive financing in the US, Canadian, and European markets.

With straightforward, flexible leasing options, competitive rates, and fast credit processing, Cisco Capital can help any business acquire the solutions it needs to be successful. I got the chance to chat with Kristine Snow, President of Cisco Capital. She filled me in on what exactly Cisco Capital is doing to expand small business financing.

Want to learn more? Here are the specifics:

  • Three-year, 3% financing for small businesses in the US has been extended through April 2011
  • 0% financing is now available for small businesses in Canada
  • EasyLease 0% financing has been extended in Europe through July 2011
  • Cisco Capital Multiyear Maintenance financing rates have been reduced to 3% through July 2011

In addition, Cisco Capital has significantly reduced the turnaround time for partners to get quick financing decisions, and revamped the @once approval tool to make it straightforward for partners to choose the right credit option, from the start.

And with the help of eDocs, Cisco Capital is dispensing with physical contracts and cumbersome paperwork, and even accepting electronic signatures to streamline the Purchase Order and Funding process.

Lastly, Cisco Capital has introduced a partner marketing kit containing resources to help VARs close deals using financing. The kit includes customer decks, value links, training materials, copy blocks and information specific to sales theaters and international sales.

With these options in place, we hope to make it easier for you to sell to small businesses, compete, and quickly grow your bottom line with a variety of financing options.
