Cisco Partner Shares Twitter Best Practices
It seems you can’t turn on your computer, watch TV, or even read this blog without a mention of Twitter. (There were even rumors of a Twitter reality TV show floating around this week.)
At Cisco, we’re using Twitter to stay close to our community, listen, have conversations, send out news, and the list goes on. We’ve even created a Partner Summit hash tag (#ciscops09) so participants attending the live and virtual events next week can share information and thoughts with the community.
But rather than wax poetic about why we use Twitter, we’d rather shine a spotlight on Cisco partner Netarx and the ways it’s using this powerful social media tool. In the video below, District Manager Kevin Carpenter (@netarxtweets) shares his insights, best practices, and offers his patented tips for successful tweeting.

I can’t believe a potential employee would say that would hate the work on a tweet!
I would give nearly anything to be able to work for Cisco, and live in the Bay Area! But alas, I am stuck here in the heart of Corn Land, Indiana.
To that ungrateful candidate: Even if I had to commute for two hours, I have done if for jobs in the Service Industry, and would consider it an honor to work for a worldwide company. In this Economy, be thankful for any position with such a solid company!
