Hi David,I’m not sure if you got these questions earlier but I just wanter to know…What about the IPR related matters of the proposed idea? Is this a competition or a open invitation to identify potential avenues for venture capitalism?
KarthikThis is absolutely a competition and we fully expect to create a new emerging technology business with Billion dollar revenue potential with the winning team. As you may have read we already have 4 emerging technology businesses in the market and a number of businesses incubating, all of which we sourced internally. We started the Cisco I-Prize because we believe that there is a lot of innovative thinking in the world that the power of the Network can bring together to make even more powerful. With respect to IPR, I’ll refer you to the Cisco I-Prize Terms and Conditions.thanksDavid
Hey David,Which countries do we want added to the list?Best wishes,Chris.
Good question… I’d love to see people from as many countries as possible compete. Looking at the list there are a few surprising omissions… France and Norway for example. Estonia is a very tech savvy nation but no one there has registered. There are others… Hopefully we can all reach out and help spread the word. I’ll keep updating everyone as we progress.
