This morning we have a very special treat – Networking Field Day 4 is stopping by Cisco!
Last night I got to meet a bunch of the delegates (fancy name for bloggers) and am pretty excited as they’re a great group of Field Day veterans and new folks. I think the lineup of talks will be fun for them, and I’m hoping we’ll get a good, solid discussion going. Plus, one of the delegates has agreed to wear a kilt.
For the un-initiated, Networking Field Day 4 (#NFD4 on Twitter) is part of the larger Tech Field Day series where a group of highly technical bloggers are brought to San Jose from all over the world to visit different networking vendors. The vendors prepare short talks and conversation ensues. The full event is filmed, live-streamed, and the videos will be available after. Think of it as Nerds On A Bus, The Reality Series.
My hope for Network Field Day (and what I really like about it) is to give the people who care deeply about networking (both the bloggers and those watching from afar) a peek into some of the cool technologies we have at Cisco.
Schedule: Below, I’ve listed the basic order of talks we’re expecting to have.
