Who:
The big news for Cisco this week is SVP Doug Merritt kicking off the keynotes on Wednesday at 9:15 with “The New IT Agenda: Driving Business Innovation.” If you’re at Interop, you’ll want to check out this keynote and then visit our booth to see our new solutions in action. If you’re not at Interop, we’ll link to the keynote after.
In addition to this talk, we also have a place for you to have a slightly more intimate conversations with Cisco executives. On Thursday we’re hosting a luncheon round table on enabling BYOD with the newest in Unified Access solutions. The hosted luncheon is open only to Interop attendees who have registered you can do so here. Be sure to register though and show up by 12:45pm to room 1E12 to get your seat!
What:
There are two apps you’ll want to check out. The first is the Cisco Enterprise App (download w/ the QR code to the right.) If you’re at Interop, you can take an easy trivia challenge on Wednesday and Thursday. If you’re at the top of the leaderboard, be sure to stop by our booth at the end of each day to pick up a price. There will be three winners each day and prizes include an Apple TV, e
The second app is Interop’s app, sponsored by Cisco. In this app there’s a small Cisco section where you can view each days’ events (updates each day) as well as cool Interop features such as the community of
participants who have also downloaded the app, the ability to set up your own agenda, and unicorns.
Where:
As mentioned above, we can be on your phone through the Interop app helping guide your location. Additionally, you can find the Cisco booth at the entrance to the conference hall. There are two places you could enter, if you go in onto the left entrance, we’re on your right! It’s booth #221 for those who like to look at maps.
When:
In addition to the above mentioned keynote, Cisco will be out and about in force at Interop. We’ll be at speaking sessions, on panels, giving sponsored talks (which are open to anyone), and giving lightening talks -- 15 minute theater sessions in the theater at our booth every 30 held hour.
