Carlos Dominguez has been with Cisco Systems, Inc. since 1992. During his tenure at Cisco he has held a number of pivotal positions in both the Enterprise and Service Provider Organization. Mr. Dominguez is currently the Sr. Vice President for the Service Provider Organization in the U.S. which focuses in the ILEC/RBOC, Cable, Emerging Carriers and the IXC Markets. In his current role Mr. Dominguez leads a team of over 1200 people and has revenue responsibilities in excess of 2 Billion annually.

Prior to his current position he was the Vice President - US Network Service Provider Sales, a group that focused on new, emerging Service providers. Prior to his NSP role, Mr. Dominguez led the team responsible for the Enterprise line of Business in the Northeast USA and established Cisco in a number of strategic markets (Financial Services, Media, Government and Pharmaceuticals.) His leadership has contributed significantly to Cisco’s phenomenal growth through the 1990’s ($35M and 16 people in 1992 to over $20B and 35,000 employees as of 2001). Prior to Cisco, Mr. Dominguez held management positions at Timeplex, Inc., Woodcliff Lake, NJ and New Jersey Bell / Bell Atlanticom., Newark, NJ.

Mr. Dominguez serves on the Board of Directors of: • ThruPoint (Service Company) • Communities in Schools of NJ (a non-profit organization that focus on keeping high risk children in school). • NACME Board (A Non Profit organization - National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering). • First Baptist Community Development Corporation (Non-Profit) • YMCA

He also serves on the Advisory Board of Apogee Networks (Data Chargeback company).

Mr. Dominguez has a great deal of passion, which he infuses into all of his activities, and is deeply committed and energetically focused on educational and children issues.

Mr. Dominguez has recently been selected as one of America’s most powerful Hispanic executives in technology and business by Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology, the nation’s premiere Hispanic technology publication. Mr. Dominguez has an electrical engineering background from the University of P.R., Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

Mr. Dominguez was born in Cuba and has lived in New Jersey since 1963.

Mr. Dominguez lives in Old Tappan, NJ with his wife Tina and 3 daughters, Tara, Christina and Katherine.
