Fred Kost
Director of Security Solutions Marketing
Mr. Kost is Director of Security Solutions Marketing for Cisco. He and his team are responsible for delivering security solutions that enable Cisco’s security strategy. Fred has extensive security experience and has held technology marketing and development positions with Recourse Technologies, Symantec, nCircle and Blue Lane Technologies.
Fred has over eighteen years of experience in marketing and product development in emerging technologies spanning the network security, voice applications, internet payment and the personal computer industries. He has held management positions with Compaq, Intel Corporation, VeriFone Internet Commerce, and Genesys Telecommunication Laboratories.
Mr. Kost earned a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
