Waseem Sheikh

Waseem Sheikh is senior director and group leader of the Supply Chain Management Practice for the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). Sheikh has more than 20 years of experience in industries characterized by highly engineered, capital-intensive, complex products and associated services.

Prior to joining Cisco, Sheikh was vice president and group leader of the manufacturing industry practice at Razorfish. His practice routinely conceived and implemented client solutions incorporating e-procurement, e-logistics, e-learning, and knowledge management.

Before joining Razorfish, Sheikh was vice-president/partner and practice co-leader at A.T. Kearney, Inc. Sheikh’s focus included strategy, acquisition, divestitures, and mergers. Sheikh pioneered the use of rapid financial assessment and operational improvement tools across multiple industry groups.

Prior to A.T. Kearney, Sheikh was managing consultant at EDS Management Consulting Services (MCS), and for 13 years held various general management positions within the Resources Conservation Company (a unit of Reading and Bates) and Boeing. Sheikh serves on the Board of Directors of Maasai Education Discovery (www.maasaieducation.org) and on the Board of visitors of The Fenn School in Concord, MA

Sheikh holds a master’s degree in public and private management from Yale University, an MBA in finance and a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics and astronautics engineering from the University of Washington, and an associate of arts from Oxford University. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
