Sujai Hajela is Vice President and General Manager of the Wireless Networking Business Unit, one of the business units within the Cisco Network Services Group. He is responsible for the vision, roadmap, technology, and product development of Cisco’s WLAN portfolio including wireless LAN access points, controllers, network management, and mobile services solutions.
Previously at Cisco, Sujai was Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise & Commercial Management Business Unit, where he was responsible for Cisco Prime for Enterprise, an innovative network management strategy that has been recognized as a differentiator for Cisco.
Before joining Cisco, Sujai was the Vice President and General Manager at Motorola (now Motorola Solutions) where he was responsible for the wireless network solutions business, including wireless LAN, wireless security (air defense) and management (wireless valley), wireless broadband, private broadband and voice over WLAN. In that role, he established Motorola's vision for the wireless enterprise and led the development of new products such as
Wi-NG, which grew the company's market share. Prior to Motorola, Sujai held domestic and international positions at Nortel, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, and at C-DOT where he was involved in developing high-performance security, L4-7 switching, and network management solutions. Sujai holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Technology from Bangalore University and Master of Business Administration degree from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
