Stephanie Carullo, Worldwide Vice President of Data Center & Virtualization Sales, leads cross-functional global teams responsible for Cisco’s go-to-market strategy for the Data Center Architecture. In this role, she is responsible for evolving the sales coverage model, leveraging the partner eco-system, driving joint development of Data Center offerings and solutions to key segments, and ensuring Cisco is seen as a market leader. She also leads the Data Center Board for Cisco which is responsible for Cisco’s Data center strategy and subsequent investment decisions.
Previously Ms. Carullo served as Area Vice President in Cisco’s Service Provider business in the United States, driving Cisco’s overall relationship, investment and growth strategy with key global, mobility, media and portal customers. In this role, Stephanie and her team were pivotal in the successful deployment of large Data Center infrastructure at key telecommunication and online Internet businesses.
Prior to Cisco, Ms. Carullo was Managing Director, Enterprise and Government Sales, for Telstra, Australia. In that role she was responsible for growing Telstra’s share of the E&G market in Australia as well as business development in new markets such as Resources, Utilities and Emergency Services. Under Ms.Carullo’s leadership, the team reported sales in excess of $3B, driving YoY growth and share in key market segments. During her tenure at Telstra she also led a major sales transformation project and developed and implemented programs that contributed to significant revenue growth and increased customer satisfaction.
Before joining Telstra Ms. Carullo spent 14 years with IBM. During her time there, she combined business management and operational skills to drive improvements in IBM’s sales coverage models, leveraged Channels successfully as a primary route to market, and contributed to a global initiative working for the CEO that helped transform the company into a Solutions and Services organization.
While at IBM, Ms. Carullo held a number of executive level positions including General Manager, Channel Management, A/NZ; Director, Commercial Business Sector, A/NZ; Director, Sales and Operations, Commercial Business, Asia Pac; and Partner, IBM Business Consulting Services, Asia Pac.
Outside of work, Ms. Carullo is a keen sports woman and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She sees significant parallels between business and sport and likes to push herself to win in both arenas.
Ms. Carullo holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons) Economics/History from Monash University, Australia.
