I very much enjoy the culture around IT security. I work with various teams across Cisco to research emerging threats and detect the exploitation of those threats.

Prior to joining Cisco I worked for IBM. My work there was focused on the design and implementation of a variety of operating system security functions. In fact, I have a couple of patent applications for security features that are deployed in the field. I've also led both vulnerability response and Common Criteria initiatives.

My wife and I live in Texas.
