Through various IT roles, Shaun has used his on-the-job experience and self-study to earn many IT related certificates and designations. He holds a Computer Systems Technology diploma from the Northern Institute of Technology and is currently looking to expand his education.
Shaun also volunteers as President of the CIO Association of Canada, Edmonton Chapter. This association is a not-for-profit community of IT leaders whose mission is to facilitate networking, sharing of best practices and executive development as well as to drive advocacy on issues facing IT Exectives/CIOs.
When Shaun isn’t working or volunteering, he can be found hiking or skiing in the Canadian Rockies. He loves all things gadgets and can be found blogging about them on his personal blog http://imagadgetguy.com. He is also a husband to an amazing stay at home wife with two children who are quickly becoming techies in their own right.
