Russell Craig is a manager in the global public sector practice of the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). Currently based in London, Russell works with the public sector around the world with a European focus.
A major element of Russell’s work is development of new approaches to technology enabled innovation – both in government and across the wider “public purpose sector” of social and private sector actors. He plays a significant role with Cisco’s British Innovation Gateway programme – Cisco’s 5 year/$500 million commitment to supporting technology-enabled innovation and growth in the UK. Alongside this, he is considerably involved in the development of Dialogue Café – www.dialoguecafe.org – a global initiative to enable cross-cultural dialogue using Cisco video collaboration capabilities.
Before joining Cisco Russell was a senior official in the New Zealand Government, and also worked at the OECD in Paris.
Russell is married with 2 children. Outside of work, he and his family enjoy exploring the UK
