Security Line of Business Manager, Dimension Data UK

Rory has over 20 years of experience within IT vendor and integrator presales teams focused on IP-based networking and security. He joined Dimension Data in April 2006 bringing with him in-depth knowledge for project scoping, design, and management from industry leaders in cryptography and IP networking. As the leader of the UK’s Security Line of Business he is involved in developing innovative solutions for a range of multinational and global clients across all vertical markets. Rory was also involved closely with the pre-ATP stages of Cisco’s Identity Services Engine and was responsible for the first ISE deployments in the UK.

He joined Dimension Data from Certicom Corporation where he was working with Public Key Cryptography with particular focus on the use of cryptography and security in the mobile handset marketplace including VPN and data at rest solutions.

Prior to Certicom, he was responsible for pre-sales for Managed IP Solutions within Alcatel providing solutions including IPSec VPN, Remote Access Servers and softswitch technology.

Previously, he has been involved in a number of technology start-ups including TimeStep, a Canadian IPSec VPN vendor, and Firefox Communications - the first UK software company to float on NASDAQ.
