Federal Area

Reema Prasad is a solutions architect for US Federal Area, Cisco Systems, Inc.  Miss Prasad supports long range federal programs, including defense, intelligence, and civilian programs.  She works with federal communities to identify requirements and advise them on the future direction of networking technologies and the networking industry.  As an architect for the federal area, she designs solutions, and helps to identify capabilities, platforms, and value added support, allowing federal agencies and the military to achieve their goals.

Miss Prasad joined Cisco in 2007.  Her previous role at Cisco included Systems Engineer consulting to systems integrators such as Boeing Defense, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, General Atomics, CACI Inc. and L3 Communications.  She was continually recognized for her efforts as a Systems Engineer and participated in Cisco’s future leaders’ program.

Miss Prasad holds a Bachelors degree in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Masters degree in Applied Physics from the Johns Hopkins University.  She is a Cisco Certified Networking Professional and a Cisco Certified Design Professional.  She is a member of AFCEA and has participated in several industry events.
