Marc Girardot leads the Global Automotive Practice in Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG) along with the European Manufacturing Practice. Working on a non-fee basis, IBSG helps clients use technological, organizational and business process innovation to drive industry transformation. Marc and his team provide strategic assistance to car manufacturers and related organizations on topics ranging from corporate culture to next generation dealership to connected car. Most recently, Marc has worked in Biotechnology helping one of the leading company in that field transition.
Marc Girardot brings more than 20 years of industry and consulting experience working for leading corporations across the world. Before joining Cisco in 2000, Mr Girardot worked for Booz Allen Hamilton’s Communications Media and Technology Group. He also has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, where he consulted for BP, Exxon and Total. Prior to his consulting years, Girardot held a variety of management positions in sales, management accounting, auditing and strategy for industrial gas leader Air Liquide.
Girardot holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, and a master’s degree in economics from ESSEC, France.
