Lisa Napier

Security Engagement Manager
Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle Core Programs

Lisa Napier has been with Cisco for over 16 years and started at a time when spam was still just a weird meat product.

Lisa has held a variety of security-focused roles during her tenure to include being an escalation engineer in the TAC, PSIRT incident manager, and CCIE exam guinea pig, among others. Lisa’s security prowess resulted in her being the first certified Security CCIE when the exam discipline was formally recognized. Lisa helped shape and define the Cisco PSIRT as it moved to the functional organization it is today and was part of the team that designed and launched the first iteration of Cisco Security Intelligence Operations, formerly known as the Cisco Security Center.

Currently, Lisa is a Security Engagement Manager who works to ensure compliance with the Cisco Secure Development Lifecycle. She also served as organizer and host of Cisco SecCon 2012.
