Lindsay Hiebert is a senior marketing manager for Cisco's Internet of Things (IOT) responsible for products, solutions and industry marketing for IOT technologies, architectures and solutions for IOT safety and security, collaborative operations, incident management and business intelligence.
His experience includes product and solution marketing for networked communications, security and collaboration technologies including: video surveillance, access control, incident response, IP phones, unified communications, contact center, unified messaging, connected energy, smart buildings, and related Cisco Enterprise Networks products, and product management roles for Cisco's Unified Communications.
Lindsay joined Cisco in 1999, to lead Cisco’s internal Cisco IT deployment and migration to Unified Communications across the company – a key Cisco and John Chambers initiative with Cisco's UC business unit that was, at the time, led by Marthin De Beer - reaching a new global milestone in using the Network as the Platform and becoming “Cisco’s best first customer”. Repeatedly creating new milestones for the communications industry, Cisco reached market success of over $1B in revenues annually for the Unified Communications business, and the #1 market share position in Enterprise Voice (Unified Communications) in just 5-6 years. Lindsay's contributions within Cisco Technology and Business groups have consistently resulted in annual growth rates for businesses ranging from double digits to triple digits, and captured several industry distinctions and awards for Cisco innovation and customer innovation using Cisco technologies and solutions.
Prior to Cisco, his experiences include project management, software development, and the design and operation of large scale communications networks and routing systems, delivering innovative network and business services for AT&T, Sprint and others.
