Kurt Harris is a Senior Systems Engineering Manager at Cisco Systems. He is responsible for the management of the engineering organization focused on the United States Navy, United States Marines, and Army/Navy/Air Force/Marines business in the Western United States as well as Hawaii, Japan, Korea, and Guam.

Joining Cisco in early 2000, Kurt has held positions as a Systems Engineer and a Systems Engineering Manager in the Service Provider organization focusing on AT&T's wireless, optical and metro ethernet networks, as well as having served as the Systems Engineering Manager for the United States Air Force programs team.

Outside of Cisco, Kurt is active in the Alamo Chapter of Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International (AFCEA), he is the local executive sponsor for the Veterans Enablement & Transformation Support in San Antonio, as well as working with the San Antonio Veterans Coalition.

Prior to Cisco, Kurt held positions as a Systems Engineer with Harris Corporation, Microwave Communications Division and as a Project Manager with Alexander Utility Engineering. Kurt holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and an MBA from Texas Tech University.
