Kurt Grutzmacher has over seventeen (17) years IT experience, including eleven(11) focused specifically on infrastructure and application penetration testing. He spent thirteen (13) years working for the US Federal Reserve in various capacities in network engineering and penetration testing; prior to leaving the US Federal Reserve he was manager of their internal penetration testing team. Kurt also helped create and led the penetration testing team for Pacific Gas & Electric, one of the largest utilities in the United States. At Cisco Kurt is a Solutions Architect and active engineer for the Security Posture Assessment (SPA) penetration testing team, providing services to Cisco's customers. Kurt has spoken at multiple security conferences such as Toorcon, Defcon, DeepSec, 8.8 and develops and presents CiscoLive's BRKSEC-2006 "You have been hacked" presentation series.
