Senior Vice President, Service Provider Business, Products, and Solutions

Kelly Ahuja is Senior Vice President of Service Provider Business, Products, and Solutions, where he is responsible for developing and managing the service provider segment strategy and portfolio within Cisco's Development organization.

Ahuja's 17-year career at Cisco is rooted in the design and deployment of telecommunications networks. Before his current position, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Mobility Business Group. In this role, he was responsible for the global business strategy and execution of Cisco's entire mobility product and technology solutions portfolio, which targeted mobile service operators. Prior to that, Ahuja acted as Chief Architect for the Service Provider business, covering routing, optical, mobility, video, and cloud technologies. Before that, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Service Provider Routing Technology Group, in which he evolved and expanded the routing portfolio and managed the transition from IPv4 to IPv6. During this period, Ahuja also led the acquisition of Starent, which became the foundation of the Mobile Internet Technology Group. In prior roles at Cisco, Ahuja was Vice President and General Manager of the Core Routing Business Unit and Vice President of Marketing for the Carrier Core Multi Service Business Unit.

Ahuja has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications and networking. Before joining Cisco, he served as Vice President of Marketing at BlueLeaf Networks, a startup developing optical switching and transmission systems. Before that he led the product marketing team for Cisco network switches at StrataCom. In prior positions, he led the design and deployment of data and voice networks for several organizations in AT&T Canada and has also held engineering and analyst positions with Bank of Canada and Telesat Canada, designing, implementing, and supporting data and voice networks.

Ahuja holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary.
