John Kohlmorgan

John Kohlmorgan is the director of Network Services for the Austin Independent School District (AISD). In this role, he provides leadership over the teams that manage the district’s network infrastructure from internet connectivity and security to telephony. John’s main focus is providing high-quality, cost-effective, and secure communication services to students and staff in order to facilitate the educational goals of the District. John has worked for AISD for the past 16 years, as a network analyst, WAN Manager, and now in his current position. Before joining AISD, he worked 15 years at a large data communications vendor and was instrumental in building the first Texas Lottery Network as well as supporting and maintaining Fortune 500 and state/federal agency networks.
