John Damon is a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on ASA Firewalls for small to midsize business and distributed enterprise. He develops product go-to-market awareness and enablement initiatives for/with global Partner and Distribution channels as well as Service Providers.

John has 20+ years experience working in a variety of domestic and international roles within government and technology. He has held positions at the U.S. Department of State, EDS, Adobe, Cisco and Symantec. This is his second opportunity at Cisco where he previously held marketing roles in Linksys Small Business, Enterprise Mobility, Borderless Networks and Solutions Marketing. He received a BA from George Washington University and a MBA from University of San Francisco. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
